Follow the steps below to schedule your class.
changes in state licensing fees reduce the cost of a license from $140 to only $40 so sign up now and beat the rush. Also, honorably
discharged veteran’s pay only $25 and active or recently discharged are free,
plus we give Military, Police and Firemen a $25
discount off of the original $75 class fee as well.

1/26, 2/23, 3/30, 4/27, 6/1, 6/29, 7/27, 8/31, 9/28, 10/26, 11/23, 12/21
STEP ONE – Registration
cost of the class is $75 for new applicants and $50 for renewals (Check our website for available discounts). As of September 1st
renewal applicants are no longer required to take a class but are still required to understand all the laws involving the use of force
and deadly force for that reason we strongly recommend you take the classroom portion of the course for your own protection and peace
of mind. A $50 deposit is required upon registration the balance to be paid on the day of the class. You can register by going online
STEP TWO – The classroom
Classes will be held at the Hyatt Place 5101 N. George Bush Hwy (190) Garland Tx.
972-271-7581, it is located on 190 just west of 78 in front of the Curtis Culwell Special events center. Applicants will start promptly
at 9:00 AM and end at approx. 2:00 PM
STEP THREE – The shooting proficiency
New students will be required to take a shooting proficiency
test to complete the course. This test will be conducted at 3:00 PM on the same day after the class at the Garland Public Shooting
Range 2606 Pleasant Valley Rd Garland TX. (If you cannot make it on this day other arrangements can be made)
